I am a Ph.D. candidate in Psychology at National Taiwan University (NTU), expecting to graduate in July 2026. My research focuses on mathematical psychology and psychometrics, with a particular emphasis on developing finite-sample theoretical guarantees for Computerized Adaptive Testing (CAT) algorithms. My dissertation, supervised by Prof. Yung-Fong Hsu, bridges Item Response Theory and Online Convex Optimization to address both the precision and robustness of adaptive testing.
I have published or have papers forthcoming in journals including Psychometrika, Journal of Mathematical Psychology, Behaviormetrika, Taiwan Economic Review, and Economic Inquiry, and have presented at major international conferences such as IMPS, EcoSta, and MathPsych. Beyond psychometrics, I have interdisciplinary research experience in economics (labor market analysis, household decision-making) and neuroscience (fMRI studies on decision-making under risk).
